4-axis Machining Center 　　＜example＞

4-axis machining center means that 3-axis machining center including X,Y and Z axis added rotary axis.

<Figure1> is an example of adding an index table that rotates around X axis to a table. It is effective to the machining of a cylinder thing etc.

<Figure2> is an example of adding a index table that rotates around Y axis to horizontal machining center. It is effective to a side machining big material's.

<Figure3> is an example of adding an index table that rotates around Z axis to vertical machining center. It is a special example of drill a side of cylinder and covering large XY stroke.

5-axis Machining Center 　　＜example＞

5-axis machining center means that 3-axis machining center including X,Y and Z axis added more 2 axis.

<Figure1> is an example of adding a tilt table that rotates around X axis on table and adds a rotary table that rotates around Z axis on tilting axis. There are some machine types. First example, AC axis type that tilts around X axis. Second, BC axis type that tilts around Y axis. Finally, AB axis type that a tilting axis tilts around X axis and a rotary axis that rotates around Y axis when tilting axis is 0°.
This machine type has small 5 axis machining center.

<Figure2> is an example that spindle head rotates around Z axis. And adds a tilt head that tilts around X axis on this rotary head. And adds a spindle. This machine type has big machine and router machining.

<Figure3> is an example of adding a rotary table　that rotates around Z axis on a table ,and this head tilts around Y axis. This machine type has a medium machine and a horizontal machine, and composition of axis on Mill Turn Center.
